William conducts work for individuals in several areas of law, including:
General Civil - a wide range of civil work (although I do not undertake any family work and cannot undertake immigration work via public access). If your preferred area of work is not listed below, please call on the relevant number above to discuss the matter further.
Costs - all levels of assessment and appeals in respect of costs orders
Contract - Drafting and negotiation of certain contracts as well as advising upon and assisting in the litigation of contractual issues relating to most types of contract including Consumer Credit and Sale of Goods.
Employment - In particular, compromise agreements.
Commercial - Commercial issues, both where drafting needs to be done and where a dispute has arisen.
Franchising - Considerable practical experience in evaluation of franchise agreements on behalf of prospective franchisees, advice on sale or purchase of an existing franchise and advice on and representation in disputes between the franchisee and franchisor.
'Real' Property - Physical land, including neighbour disputes and issues relating to boundaries.
Negligence - Advice to and represention of both professionals and members of the public in relation to professional negligence and other negligence issues.
Insurance - Disputes relating to insurance, including in Road Traffic cases, whereby fraud has been alleged against the relevant party.
Wills, Trusts and Inheritance - I draft wills and trusts as well as represent clients in respect of disputed inheritance (including family provision cases).
